After serving as a Tarrant County Appraisal Review Board  member for the maximum term of 6 years, Cheryl Thomas knew that she had to do more to help home and business owners save money on their property taxes. As a former Tarrant County ARB member, Cheryl was able to witness first hand how frustrated homeowners were unable to get the results that they deserved. Armed with a background in accounting and her experience as an ARB member, Cheryl Thomas founded TEXAS PVP in 2010 to help home and business owners.

Although she was able to achieve amazing results single-handedly, she quickly realized that she needed someone special to implement her vision going forward. In 2017, she found such a person...her name is Monica.

In 2017, Monica was a college student (who studied Business, Social Sciences, and English at the University of Texas & Texas Wesleyan), and throughout most of her career, she worked as a licensed insurance adjuster and Fee Negotiator on behalf of United Healthcare. When she joined the Texas PVP family, she knew that she could use her 12 years of experience as a Fee Negotiator to successfully and efficiently represent property owners.

Although TEXAS PVP quickly grew to be a very successful company, we have remained a relatively small firm that remains dedicated to serving our clients. We believe that our "artisan approach" to the protest process has allowed us to have a closer, more intimate relationship with our clients; thereby, offering them in-depth representation.

We want to be more than just your tax consultant, we want to be your advocate! We have a passion for detail and winning, so we have tailor-made our protest process to suit each of our client's specific needs.
